Faint of heart... Beware! We've got a poo-eater on our hands!
Avi spotted a devoured a fresh pile of doggie doodoo and snatched it up in his mouth before Aimee could stop him. We were on our way to the car for a trip to our friend's house when he spotted the heap, gobbled up and, needless to say, foiled Aimee's attempts to fish out the feces from his jowels.
We had read that some dog's have an aversion to eating poo. What a curious dog habit! In any case, the canine Hershey kiss shown above is all that remained after Avi's attack.
What a little kid!

Ugh! My boy Hobbs can not ever go into a yard by himself because he is a major poo eater as well.
Try having him potty on a leash and as soon as he is done, distract him with a treat while you clean up after him. This worked for Hobbs, because he was eating his almost as soon as it hit the ground!!

Actually, Avi never goes after his *own* poo. In truth, he never goes after any poo... except for this one time. Whenever we walk him past the crime scene he sniffs extra hard, most likely scouring for remnants. Very weird puppy. He must have an aversion to a particular poo (or a particular neighborhood dog).
